Many people who have never experienced Police brutality or who have never even witnessed someone being abused may think that this is an issue that might not affect the people who are living in the United States. A clear example that this is happening all across this nation is what happened to Israel Hernandez Llach. He was an eighteen year old graffiti artist from Miami who was killed because he was tagging a building. The officer, Jorge Mercado, from the Miami police department, used a stun gun with excessive force that killed Mr. Llach according to (globalgrind.com/policebrutality). Although this officer was put on administrative leave, there are many more cases that are left without any justification and that is unacceptable!
