NIA dispatches are helping organize the event that will take place May 19, 2014 in Chicago, Illinois. The goal from this march is to help empower our community members to take leadership and courage in facing these issues from youth affected by the juvenile justice system. Also to remove youth incarceration. It supports when the youth is in trouble with the law and helps them find better solutions instead of being incarcerated. This march advocates for helping direct youth away from incarceration and for them to have more options in life. What NIA means in Swahii is “with purpose” The main goal of NIA is to help prepare community to help create a more effect way to solve violence and crime.
